When is MARTA Smartest?

If you're an Atlanta resident, we're your SMARTA option when you want to:
  • Watch the Braves (train to Five Points, then Braves Shuttle to the game)
  • Watch a Falcons, Thrashers or Hawks game (our E-W train line stops at the Dome/Philips station)
  • Have a true "designated driver" night out on the town (our trains and busses serve Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead)
  • Go to the Mall at Stonecrest via the Blue Flyer out of both Indian Creek and Five Points Stations
  • Catch a plane or pick up loved ones at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. We have a station right off baggage claim, and offer much lower long-term rates than the airport lots. Don't risk fighting traffic; take the train to the plane!
If you're Visiting Atlanta on business or pleasure, we can take you to most major hotels, conventions or venues for a fraction of the cost of other modes of transportation. In today's tight economic times, we not only make sense, but we also save cents...

MARTA - $1.75 one-way pass, good for travel anywhere on the system. We serve Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead and Perimeter, as well as Decatur and other popular destinations.

MARTA - $13 for a weekly pass, $9 for a weekend, or we may have a Visitor's Pass to suit your visiting dates (don't need to be here for the same convention, just on those dates.) Any of these passes provide unlimited riding for a fixed price, and are the best deal going for transportation in Atlanta. Consider that one night's parking fee (possibly on an already rented car) at a downtown hotel is often more than a one-week pass.

This is all versus a Taxi Ride of between $20 (downtown) and $45 (Perimeter) one way. Again, all that does is get you there, once. Shuttles cost $15 or more and have the same one-and-done limitation.

We have rail stations within walking distance of the following hotels and have stations right next to the following popular meeting/sports venues:
  • Georgia World Congress Center
  • Philips Arena
  • Georgia Dome
  • America's Mart
  • Georgia International Congress Center (NEW! in College Park)
Take a ride on MARTA and see how easy we can make your life in one way or another. MARTA, pulling together for you and the things you do.
