MARTA operates several express shuttles during the summer months. This service makes it convenient to reach events and attractions without the frustrations of traffic jams and scarce parking spaces.
Braves Shuttle
Going to cheer the Braves onto victory? Let MARTA's Stadium Shuttle take you to Turner Field quickly and without the hassle of downtown traffic jams. The shuttle leaves from Underground/World of Coca-Cola Plaza 90 minutes before the game and continues every 15 minutes until 1 hour after the last out. Six Flags Over Georgia Shuttle
Summer is the time for roller coasters and thrills, and that's where MARTA's Six Flags Over Georgia Shuttle comes into play. This express shuttle / Bus Route 201 departs from the Hamilton E. Holmes Station and drops off across the street from the park entrance (intersection of Six Flags Parkway and South Service Road), it’s only a 12-minute ride. The service operates only on the days the park is open from approximately one hour before the park opens until approximately one hour after closing. The route runs every 40 minutes throughout the days it is operating. The shuttle is free when you transfer from any MARTA Bus or rail station.
MARTA fare is $1.75 one way. Please load fare on a BreezeCard/Ticket. Remember to keep your Breeze Card/Ticket because transfers are automatically loaded onto your Breeze Card/Ticket when you tap to exit the train station or tap to enter a bus.
Lakewood Amphitheater Shuttle
During the concert season, MARTA
operates shuttle buses to the Lakewood Amphitheatre
for your convenience. The shuttle leaves from the Lakewood/Ft.
McPherson Station 90 minutes before show time and, after
the event, until the last music fan leaves.
The Lakewood Amphitheater shuttle is only $1 each way when
you transfer from a MARTA train or bus with valid Breeze
Card/Ticket, rail-to-bus transfer or weekly/monthly transcard
or daily/weekly visitors pass. Shuttle riders not utilizing
the rail system must pay $2.75 each way ($1.75 Fare + $1
shuttle surcharge). No additional surcharge for children
under 6 years old. Bus transfers are free.
