Education/Experience Requirements:
- Valid Georgia Class “A or B” CDL driver’s license or CDL permit with Passenger Endorsement.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of two years driving experience. A maximum of one (1) moving violation, with a maximum of three (3) points on Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) within a 24-month period. No DUI violations allowed.
- Successful completion of a two-year diesel or automotive program, Transit Bus Maintenance 2-Year Apprenticeship Program, Department of Defense Maintenance Program, or closely related Maintenance Train-ing Program, and one-year work experience in automotive, heavy duty vehicle maintenance and repair, or closely related field is required. In lieu of completion of formal training, three or more years of work experi-ence in automotive or heavy duty truck maintenance service and repair or similar may be substituted.
To be considered for this position, you must bring the following:
1. Valid Class “ A or B” CDL driver’s license or CDL permit
2. An original 5-7 year Motor Vehicle Report
3. High School Diploma or Equivalent
4. Document verifying your eligibility to work in the U.S. (i.e. Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, or US Passport)
5. Current copy of your resume
Job fair attendees will have the opportunity to speak with MARTA Human Resources personnel about the position and the benefits package.
There will be onsite interviews for those who meet the requirements . This process may take up to 4 hours. Professional /business attire is required at this Job Fair.
