Take MARTA To RaceTown Atlanta October 28-29
RaceTown Atlanta is a FREE street festival to be held in the heart of downtown Atlanta Oct 28 - 29 at Centennial Olympic Park. Atlanta's dynamic, twenty one acre Centennial Olympic Park will be transformed into a racetrack environment to create the excitement and entertainment value of a live NASCAR Nextel Cup event.
This downtown festival will combine the excitement of motor sports with food and live concerts. Plus RaceTown will also feature appearances, interactive games and prizes, an amazing assembly of NASCAR showcars and simulators, and non-stop feature entertainment on the main stage.
The event provides the perfect backdrop to the Bass Pro Shops 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup race scheduled for Oct. 30, 2005 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
HOW TO TAKE MARTA
For customers coming from the North or South
Take the train to Peachtree Center Station and use the Harris Street exit. Take [Andrew Young] International Blvd. to Centennial Olympic Park.
For customers coming from the East or West
Take the train to Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station and use the Philips Arena exit. Walk along side Philips Arena and CNN Center following Centennial Olympic Park Drive then across Marietta Street to Centennial Olympic Park.
