Community Safety Expo

MARTA and The Coca-Cola Company are sponsoring a Community Safety Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 2nd at Lakewood/Ft. McPherson Station. The Community Safety Expo will feature education on gun violence protection (with free gun locks), first aid, bicycle safety, nutrition, car seat checks, home fire safety and senior citizen safety.

The Coca-Cola Company will provide hot dogs and drinks, and there will also be music and entertainment. Participating agencies at the Community Safety Expo will be the MARTA Police Department, the East Point Police Department, the Clark-Atlanta Police Department, the Atlanta Police Department, Fulton County Animal Control, the East Point Fire Department, the Fulton County Police Department, the College Park Police Department, the Spelman Police Department, the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, the Georgia State Patrol and the Atlanta Fire Department.
