Our department is deeply committed in supporting crime prevention. The Crime Analysis Department provides crime suppression opportunities through research and reporting. Through the use of our computerized reporting system (PAMET), we provide statistical data for conducting administrative, strategic and tactical analysis of crime data to support strategic planning in crime prevention. Our department’s focus is ongoing in providing strong criminal intelligence data for system and process development; and strengthening collaborative efforts between the police and the MARTA community that will result in the prevention and reduction of crime and disorder.
