MARTA Police Special Operations
K-9 Unit

MARTA’s K-9 teams consist of an officer and a canine. The team undergoes extensive and continuing training in the detection of a standard number of explosive and chemical compounds. To enhance the level of service to patrons and employees, teams are used to patrol trains, facilities, stations etc.
