Service Planning & Scheduling  

Service planning and scheduling includes evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of existing services.  Service Planning and Scheduling staff proactively develops service plans with community input, maintains MARTA Service Standards that are approved annually by the MARTA Board of Directors, and coordinates with local public/private agencies with bus and shuttle services (Transportation Management Associates and Community Improvement Districts).  This branch also oversees the scheduling of all bus and rail service in coordination with Operations and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient and cost effective transportation for our riders.
