On Saturday, Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., MARTA planners and staff will provide an update on Connect 400, the Red Line expansion project, at the Center for Pan Asian Community Services (CPACS) 11th Annual Tea Walk in Chamblee.
The event, which celebrates the diversity of the Pan Asian community promotes civic engagement, will take place at CPACS headquarters at 3510 Shallowford Road NE. Community stakeholders will have an opportunity to learn more about the proposal to extend transit from the existing North Springs station north to Windward Parkway.
Once complete, this expansion project will provide a reliable, safe and convenient transportation solution to one of the region’s most congested areas. Throughout the planning process, MARTA will continue to inform and educate the general public and various Connect 400 stakeholders by participating in community events and hosting a variety of public forums.
