HIRING INFORMATION SESSION

ATLANTA - The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) Police Department will hold a hiring information session for Police Officers, Dispatchers/Call-Takers, and Protective Specialists on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. until 2
p.m. at MARTA headquarters, located across from the Lindbergh Center rail station on Piedmont Road in Atlanta.

POLICE
OFFICER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must pass a background investigation and a physical examination, including drug/alcohol screen, polygraph, psychological test, and physical agility test
CJIT-POLICE
DISPATCHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a background investigation and a physical examination, including drug/alcohol screen and psychological exam
PROTECTIVE SPECIALIST
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must pass a background investigation and a physical examination, including drug/alcohol screen, polygraph, and psychological exam
Interviews will be conducted on-site, and conditional offers will be presented upon successful completion of PT Test, Interview & preliminary background investigations. Please be prepared to complete an application by bringing the following:
- Formal application if you have previously received one
- Resume
- Driver’s License
- Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Education (i.e., High School/College Diploma, transcripts, or GED)
A copy of your COVID-19 vaccination record will be required on your employment start date.
Applicants are encouraged to ride MARTA to the event. The job fair will be held at MARTA headquarters, which is located across the street from Lindbergh Center Station. Free parking is also available in the nearby MARTA parking deck located on Sidney Marcus Blvd
