Catastrophic illness Leave (CAT)/long Term Sickness (LTS)
CAT/LTA allows you to receive pay during an absence from work if you are ill or injured after meeting certain criteria.

Deferred Compensation
MARTA offers a Section 457 long-term savings plan for employees to defer a specified amount of before-tax dollars. The fundsa may be invested in tax-deferred options of the employee’s choice.
Bus/Rail Pass
Employees receive a free Breeze Card annually which can be used anytime during MARTA’s scheduled hours of operation. This benefit offers significant savings in automobile maintenance, gasoline and parking.
Tuition Reimbursement
MARTA helps employees pay for work-related courses at accredited institutions. Employees may receive up to $1,800 per fiscal year. The percentage of reimbursement received per course is based on the final course grade.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP offers help to employees who may have personal problems that may impact job performance such as family conflicts, addictions, financial problems, stress disorders, or emotional difficulties. EAP is a private, confidential service which helps employees by providing assessment and referral for overwhelming problems.
