On Saturday, December 31, Atlanta will be celebrating all day and into the night!
MARTA will provide extra train service on all lines.
Red/Gold lines (North Springs and Doraville to Airport) will operate every 15-minutes from 6 am to end of service.
Blue/Green lines (East/West and Bankhead) will operate every 15-minutes from 6 am, increasing to 10-minutes at 4 pm.
Last trains will depart Five Points Station in all directions at 2 a.m.
CHICK-FIL-A PARADE
The Chick-fil-A Parade begins at Peachtree Street and Ralph McGill Boulevard and continues south on Peachtree Street; right on Andrew Young International Boulevard through Centennial Olympic Park across Marietta Street and terminates on upper International Boulevard. The following bus routes will need to be rerouted from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm:
Routes 1, 16, 32, 110.
Route 186 will be diverted to Georgia State Station from the beginning of service on Saturday, Dec. 31.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. the New Year's Peach Drop at Underground will close the following streets.
Peachtree Street: between ML King Jr. Drive and Auburn Avenue.
Pryor Street & Park Place: between MLk King Jr. Drive and Auburn Avenue.
The following bus routes will be diverted to different rail stations due to the street closures:
Bus routes diverted to Garnett Station (Peachtree St @ Brotherton St)
1, 3, 13, 32, 42, 49, 51, 155.
Bus routes diverted to Civic Center Station (ease side of W. Peachtree St.)
16 and 110
Bus routes diverted to Georgia State Station (west side of station) 55, 74, and 186.
Detailed re-routes will start at approximately 4 pm and remain until the end of the night.
