MARTA HOLDS COMMUNITY
MEETINGS TO DISCUSS PROPOSED BUS ROUTE CHANGES
ATLANTA—The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will hold two community meetings to discuss proposed bus route changes. The first meeting is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30 at MARTA Headquarters from 10 a.m. until noon. A second meeting is scheduled at the Decatur Library on Tuesday,
Oct. 3 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
MARTA regularly evaluates bus routes to ensure community and rider needs are being met. Modifications were recommended based on feedback received from customers and the Authority’s service analysis. All service modifications accepted by MARTA’s Board of Directors will become
effective Dec. 9, 2017.

Copies of the proposed bus service modifications will also be available at MARTA’s headquarters in the Office of External Affairs, at 2424 Piedmont Road, Atlanta, Ga. 30324, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
