- Always face forward and hold the hand rail.
- Step on and off promptly.
- Stand to the right.
- Stay clear of moving parts. (Loose shoe laces and clothing can get caught in escalators.)
- Carry personal items. Do not rest them on the hand rails or steps.
- Do not walk up or down an escalator that is not working. Use the nearest stairs or elevator.
- Please do not board an escalator if it is overcrowded or not working.
- Only travel in the direction of escalator movement.
- Always hold children’s hands.
Please do not use escalators if you are:
- Carrying heavy or large packages/luggage
- Traveling with a child in a stroller
- In a wheelchair or using crutches
- Having any difficulties accessing the escalators
