Did you know? Atlanta's home of the arts includes the Woodruff Center, and the High Museum of Art. Originally founded in 1905 as the Atlanta Art Association, the High Museum of Art received its first permanent home in 1926 when Mrs. Joseph M. High donated her family's residence on Peachtree Street. The High has an exchange program with the Louvre in Paris France, and many of it's pieces are often loaned and on exhibit in Atlanta.
