Mobility Cost per Passenger Trip

Definition: Mobility Cost per Passenger Trip measures the total cost of providing Mobility service per unlinked passenger boarding.

Performance (December 2016):

The Cost per MARTA Mobility Passenger Trip of $44.33 in December exceeded the forecast by $0.30, or 0.7%. This unfavorable variance was due to Mobility ridership falling short of the forecast by 0.6 thousand unlinked passenger trips. The 2017 Fiscal Year-to-Date (months of July through December) Cost per Mobility Passenger Trip of $41.31 is lower than the forecast by $0.06, or 0.1%. This favorable variance is due to net under-runs in budgeted expenses.
