Part I Crime Rate

Definition: Measures the number of Part 1 Crimes, which includes four violent crimes (Homicide, Forcible Rape, Aggravated Assault, and Robbery) and four property crimes (Larceny/Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft, Burglary, and Arson) per one million  unlinked passenger boardings.


Performance (November 2016):

In November, met the Target; the actual being  3.13 - mostly due to a 50% decrease in the number of Aggravated Assault related crimes. Overall, there was a 32% decrease in the number of Part One Crimes from 47 in October to 32 in November.
