RIDER ALERT
Beginning Saturday, Nov. 1, the East-West (E-W) Center Platform at Five Points will be closed for approximately two months to replace ceiling, flooring and install new benches for a more enhanced station. All customers must exit and board trains on the outer platforms instead of the center platform at Five Points. Please follow signage. Elevators remain in service. Overview
At the heart of downtown Atlanta, Five Points is MARTA’s busiest station and the central transfer point between all rail lines. This rehabilitation project includes a full renovation of both the East-West and North-South platform levels below the concourse level.
Construction began in 2022 and will continue through 2026. Service will continue throughout project, although customers may see some areas and access points closed periodically. These impacts will be communicated to our customers through announcements, signage, and social media.

The historic façade features Renaissance Revival architecture including three archways (formerly windows), columns with the sculpture of a woman, and other ornate detailing.
