Reasonable Modification Requests
A reasonable modification is a
modification to MARTA’s policies, practices or procedures that is requested by
a person with a disability to ensure they are able to use the MARTA transit
system.
To request a reasonable modification to
current policies, practices or procedures, please contact Customer Service at
404-848-5000 to submit your request.
MARTA may deny requests for
modifications where:
- Granting the request for modification would
fundamentally alter the nature of MARTA’s services, programs or
activities;
- Granting the request would create a direct threat to
the health and safety of others;
- It is determined that the customer is able to fully use
the entity’s services, programs, or activities for their intended purpose
without the requested modification;
- Granting the request would result in an undue financial
and administrative burden.
